Welcome to our EYFS, Year 1 and 2 class page.  We have a fun filled term ahead with lots of exciting learning opportunities.

EYFS - Topic: On the Farm

For our youngest learners, the focus will be On the Farm. From animals to crops, they’ll explore the wonders of farm life through hands-on activities, stories, and creative play.

This term, KS1 are diving into exciting learning adventures across all our subjects. Here’s what we’ll be exploring:

English: We’re unravelling the intriguing text Lost and Found. Through this captivating story, students will develop their reading comprehension, writing skills, and creative thinking. Get ready for a journey filled with exploration and discovery!

Maths: Our mathematical minds will focus on time and essential operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. We'll develop problem-solving strategies and build confidence in tackling numerical challenges.

Science: Ever wondered what toys are made from? In Science, we’ll investigate materials and their properties. Students will learn how materials shape the world around them and their role in creating everyday objects.

Geography: Let’s explore the bustling city of London! Through maps, landmarks, and cultural insights, we’ll embark on a journey to understand the geography, history, and charm of England’s capital.

Art: Creativity will flow as students dive into the world of sculptures. From clay to recycled materials, we’ll craft our masterpieces inspired by famous sculptors and personal imagination.

Religious Education (RE): We’ll discover Christianity and the story of Creation, learning about its significance, values, and the connections between faith and the world around us.

Homework and reading books are due in every Monday and will be sent back out on a Tuesday.
