Welcome back to our new term. It is going to be full of lots of opportunities for new learning and experiences. Let’s begin our journey…
This term we are focusing on ‘Lincolnshire at War’.
In English, we are focusing on creating diary entries and newspaper articles, based on the diary of Anne Frank.
During our Maths lessons we will be focusing on consolidating our knowledge of the four operations, statistics and time.
We will be working hard on our times tables, please remember to use TTRS to help us with our practise.
In Science, our unit of work will be all about ‘Changing Circuits’. We will be learning about electricity and how we can create electrical circuits.
As part of our RE lessons, we will be continuing to explore Christianity, with a particular focus on Creation and Science.
In DT, we will be using our knowledge of electrical circuits to create our own ‘Steady hand game’.
We are continuing to encourage and promote our love of reading, giving children opportunities to read throughout the day as well as a whole class reading for pleasure session to end each day.
PE days this term are Monday and Wednesday. We will be working on tag rugby and cricket.
Homework is given out on Tuesday and is to be returned on a Monday.
Please keep an eye out on Class Dojo to see the amazing work we have been doing and to see any messages.
