In carrying out our functions, the school has due regard to the need to:

The school regularly reviews its policies, procedures, curriculum and practices to ensure compliance with the Equality Act 2010.

Equality Objectives 2026-2030

Objective 1: Improve Outcomes for Vulnerable Learners

To continue to narrow attainment gaps between vulnerable groups, including disadvantaged pupils and pupils with SEND, through high-quality teaching, targeted interventions and inclusive classroom practice.

Objective 2: Promote Inclusion and Belonging

To ensure that all pupils feel safe, valued and represented within the school community through the promotion of our values of Curiosity, Courage, Compassion and Community.

Objective 3: Improve Attendance

To reduce persistent absence and improve attendance rates for vulnerable groups, including disadvantaged pupils and pupils with SEND.

Objective 4: Increase Access to Wider Opportunities

To ensure all pupils can access enrichment opportunities, educational visits, leadership roles and extracurricular activities regardless of need or background.

Review

These objectives will be monitored by school leaders and governors and reviewed every four years, with progress reported annually.
