Food in School

Our School Meals are provided by Willoughby Foods. You can view menus, nutritional information and order meals on their website simply by clicking on the picture below.

Meals for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are free. Meals for children in all other years can be purchased at a cost of £2.53 per meal.

From September 2026, FSM eligibility will be recorded by schools under one of the two categories:

Targeted FSM - for families receiving Universal Credit with household earnings below £7,400 per year. These pupils will receive a free school meal and are eligible for the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. The child’s school will also receive Pupil Premium funding.

Expanded FSM – for families receiving Universal Credit with earnings above £7,400 per year. These pupils will be entitled to free meals only.

You can apply by visiting https://lcc.cloud.servelec-synergy.com/SynergyWeb/PortalHome/

If you have any difficulties with this please see Mrs Page who would be happy to support you with an application.

We recognise that occasionally ordering online can be problematic; in the first instance please call Willoughby Foods on 01205 351133. If your issue is still not resolved the school will happily place the order on your behalf.

Packed Lunches

Alternatively, your child might prefer to bring a packed lunch each day. We do recommend a balanced selection of healthy food for lunchtime, as part of our Healthy Schools programme (see attachment below). We find the right food stimulates the right concentration. Please be aware we cannot have nut based products in packed lunches due to allergies.

Children are not permitted to bring fizzy drinks, chocolate bars or sweets in their packed lunches or for snacks at playtime. .
