Salary: Grade 4 (FTE £25,989), pro-rata salary approximately £9,630 per annum, based on 16 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks) plus holiday pay

Great Ponton Church of England School is a small, friendly primary school set in a beautiful rural location, with just 56 pupils. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will provide essential administrative support across the school. Your responsibilities will include managing reception duties, handling telephone and email enquiries, maintaining accurate records, supporting school events, processing data using school systems (such as SIMS or similar), assisting with staff administration, and ensuring the secure handling of financial transactions. You will also play an important role in liaising with parents, staff and external agencies, contributing to the welcoming and professional ethos of our school.
The successful candidate will be well organised, IT literate, able to manage competing priorities, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. Previous administrative experience is essential, and experience within a school setting would be advantageous.

Play worker/ Wrap-Around Assistant
Salary: LCC Grade 3 (£11.79–£12.18 per hour), equivalent to approximately per year (pro rata)

Enhanced DBS Required
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Playworker to join our Wrap Around school Kids’ Club supporting children aged 4–11.
You will play a key role in creating a safe, fun and engaging environment where children can relax, play and socialise before and after the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high standard of care for children, including safe handover to parents/carers
- Plan and deliver creative and enjoyable activities
- Supervise play and ensure a safe environment at all times
- Prepare and provide refreshments
- Support day-to-day organisation of the club, including basic admin and record keeping
- Administer first aid where required
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and school staff
- Support an inclusive environment in line with equal opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with or caring for children
- A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to undertake training
No formal qualifications are required, but relevant experience is essential.
