Personal welcome from the Headteacher
Great Ponton Church of England Primary School
Offering hope, building confidence, developing resilience
Wisdom, Hope, Dignity, Respect, Peace & Friendship
When I joined the school in September 2017, I remember the overwhelming feeling of belonging to a family. I am immensely proud to be the Headteacher of a school whose aim is to celebrate every child and which makes everyone feel valued, appreciated and special. Every contribution, no matter how great or small, is celebrated and nurtured through the caring atmosphere, which underpins our organisation.
I am privileged to work with a dedicated, professional body of people whose compassion and understanding never fails to inspire the children to give nothing but their very best at all times. The highest standards in achievement, behaviour and attitude are consistently met and reinforced throughout each and every school day. This is evident in a true sense of joy for learning that is reflected by the children throughout the school. The staff are committed to ensuring your child’s experience at Great Ponton will be one they can cherish for life and will provide them with the solid foundations needed for their future endeavours.
We look forward to sharing your child’s formative journey through primary education with you. We aim to provide your child with an excellent education that will enable them to succeed, flourish and become an independent and confident individual who can achieve anything- and everything - they aim for.
